    The most important numbers that you study - Goals Scored? Goals Allowed? Specific Trends? etc.....

        It's not the high juice - expect for Puck Line plays. It's that games could swing either way.
        But you gotta know the strong teams.
        Betting Caps +1 or +1.5 every game would be so very profitable this season. Probably be up 25-30 units from that alone.
        Hawks when playing well, and look for teams coming out strong in 2H of season: TB/Anaheim/even Philly too.

          Getting the best line is key and a few cents is the difference between winning and losing long term.

            I've been betting for a long, long time and I still can't figure out how to turn a profit betting hockey. And I love hockey and follow it closely.

              'tis tough, but then again - what sport isn't? For most folks, takes a bit of luck on a few parlays or a big play here or there...betting a high volume of games at about the same unit rate only works for some, but not many.

                I actually started wagering on the NHL when I first started gambling back in 1998. Back then... there was patterns and flow to win a few bucks here and there. Now, with all the new rules... and new format... 3 on 3 and then Shootout... it's a crapshoot when you go into OT.

                5Dimes is the only sportsbook that I know of... that you can wager the first 60 minutes... and then it's graded. You can even go +0.5 or -0.5 at the 60 minute mark. Of course... there's a lot of juice involved....

                Once you get into OT... it's a JOKE. There's no pattern... it's a big free for all. That's why in my opinion.... you shouldn't wager on the NHL at all.

                  That's why you bet specific games to go to OT around +300... Case in point, the Rangers/Philly today. They played 3 previous games, 2 of which were decided by the shootout so one would assume there would be a strong chance that the game may go to OT.
