    Your worst bad beat

    Post them up.

OKC vs LAC game 5 2014:

Final game of my parlay for roughly $5,700. Lac had a 101-88 lead with 4 minutes left and a 104-97 lead with 49 seconds left. The numbers aren't the worst part of this bad beat. Refs ****** up an easy video review giving OKC the ball down 2 and a phantom foul resulted in three free throws for Westbrook. Paul got fouled on the final play down one but no call.. OKC wins by 1.

Too many to name ... 2002 Wisconsin at unlv in Las Vegas some monster shut down the lights after whisky was up big game was fishy to begin with because odds were so short. Whisky might have been a pick or a slight dog I can't remember. Whisky crushed them as expected then the lights go out late in the fourth... Game is called all bets are no action. Somebody took a shot when it didn't go their way the pulled the plug. In November I had a decent chat with a old will hill manager who remembered that game he told me that was 100% old Vegas. Almost nobody remembers that game.

Remember that game well. Was in Vegas when it went down. What a commotion that caused.

2007 Playoffs Bulls Pistons Game 3. I had built my WSEX account up to $10,000 from a $100 deposit. The night before I pissed away $5,000 of it playing blackjack in their rigged casino. So I decided to place my biggest bet ever at the time and put my remaining 5k on the Bulls ML. Bulls were dominating and up 20 in the 3rd quarter. Epic meltdown ensues and my precious 10K is busto. I remember how much it hurt going in to work the next morning knowing that it would probably take me more than half a year to make that money back at my $15/hr job.

In hindsight who knows if I would have got paid by WSEX anyway. Shady ass book still owes me money. Thanks for recommending them as an A+ book SBR

    This is the worst:
"One of the all-time bad beats is the New York Mets-Atlanta Braves game in the 1999 playoffs. The total on the game was 7½, and the game went deep into extra innings tied at 2. Even when the Braves went ahead 3-2 in the top of the 15th, the overs had no reason to think they were going to win. But then, in the bottom of the inning, the Mets' bats came alive. A bases-loaded walk tied the game at three. Then, with the bases still loaded, Robin Ventura came up to the plate. I was in Vegas that day, hanging at the Stardust and doing reporting for my book "The Odds." I remember the buzz of the crowd sawing its way through the smoke. Even the lovely ladies selling cigarettes and candy from the boxes swinging around their necks stopped for a second to watch the game -- they could sense that something special was about to happen.
On the next pitch, Ventura grooved a 2-1 pitch over the right-field wall. Grand slam! Mets win! Overs win! I'll let David Bridgforth of Memphis, Tenn., who suffered a bad beat from the game, take over from here: "The only problem [was] that while rounding second Ventura [was] mobbed and never touched home plate."
I remember chaos in the book. On the screen the score flashed as 7-3. But my man Scooch, running The Orleans these days, was the second in command at The Stardust back then and he didn't know if they should cash in the overs or the unders. It took hours to unspool the confusion. Ultimately, the unders ruled."

Not me, but sitting next to a dude ( F`kkin D-bag actually) who was holding a $11000/10000 ticket.

He had the Pack +points, and with 20 seconds left, he turns to the table and says
"Only way I lose is if Farve throws a pick six"

Had #1 Kentucky Wildcats moneyline vs Indiana a couple years ago. Kentucky up 2 with 3 seconds left then Christian watford hits a 3 for the win. That was my biggest bet I've ever lost probably, put me into retirement for a few months.

College Football - On 10/5/2013 Northwestern was a 7 pt dog (maybe 6.5 dog)

Northwestern was covering the spread for 59 minutes and 55 seconds of game play until this happened

I have 2 many to count but my best 2. Me and couple friends were stupid and paid a service. It was called A.T.S. They gave out their preseason lock of the year, I think it was the2000 bears but the team they went against was the tenn titans. The lock was the team playing agst titans. Fucccking billy volek threw 4 tds in the fourth quarter to beat us. The head guy called my buddy and told him I wasn't allowed to call in any more cause I bitched at him so much
#2 I had a pick 3 going . I got senior limey when he broke his maiden at 50-1. I had the 3 favorites with the lowest at 9-5 and the lowest payout being 7000.Bartrum,charlie woods and ricardo lopez being the jockeys.I had 2 friends tell me they would give me 1000 dollars to split the ticket. I told them "I have been a loser my whole life so I am going to let it ride. Needless to say bartrum was drunk and fell off the damn horse, the other 2 were banging each other coming down the stretch and got caught!

Cards at Vikes 2006 and I'm on Minny -6.5; Minny leads 31-13 with 10 minutes left and they're on the Ariz 1 yard line. AZ gets a 99 yd scoop and score, gets another TD inside a minute left (after converting three 4th downs, including the TD, on the drive) and Minny wins 31-26.

    Maryland +11 @ NC State in 2011

Maryland was up 41-14 with like 5-6 mins left in the 3rd. NC State came back to take a 49-41 lead. Maryland got the ball back with 2 minutes to go. Maryland throws a pick with 30 seconds to go. Defender could've taken a knee and sealed the win. Instead he takes it back for a score to cover

There have been so many, man. So fukking many over the years.

I was on the losing end of that Ohio State game Rake922 posted up above. Brutal.

2015 was particularly bad. I had Seattle in the Super Bowl, and while that may or may not have been a bad beat, it hurt pretty bad considering the amount I had on it. The other horrible one I recall from this year was on October 17th, Michigan versus Michigan State. I kept live betting Michigan ML, throughout the game. I'll never get the image of that stupid punter out of my head. Huge $ loss on that one too.
