The players haven't wanted to go for the last 20 years. Should probably do away with it and replace it with a fun skills competition or something the day before the SB.

So, basically out of all 4 major sports... The Pro Bowl is the worst? I thought NHL's All Star Game was the worst?

I think they should do the Pro Bowl after the Super Bowl... or just get rid of it all together.

I want to see Cam Newton... Aaron Rodgers... throw the ball. I don't want to hear excuses why they won't be there.

Same thing every year it's a shit gm, SB players out, many other stars could care less and reject it. Personally I haven't probably watched one in 20 years and have zero clue why anyone would or even consider betting this. Needs to go my opinion.

Still believe they should do this for all major sports, make the game after the Super Bowl, stop making the super bowls at neutral sites and have the winning conference of the pro bowl receive home field for the superbowl the following year. I know for football that's impossible cuz of the $$$
But like the nba all star game lord that game would be amazing if home court in the finals was on the line

you need to have a neutral site for the superbowl. Maybe give a monetary incentive like 50,000-100,000 bonus for each player on the winning team. If players had motivation to play these games could almost be more watched than the championship game

I hope this was dry humor. If not, please don't ever bring up qbr again, unless you're making fun. It's an ESPN made stat being forced down our throats by ESPN, which would be fine if it wasn't totally broken. There are ten qbs better than Brady? Cousins and Taylor are on that list? That's pretty cool.

Integrate the Pro Bowl with the Senior Bowl, maybe mix up the teams or go rookies against pros.

Tyrod is not better than Brady stats do lie sometimes but he still played very good. His team was 8-6 in the games he started. Part of why Taylor is higher is because they run a high % of the time and the Pats have no running game. But bottomline Taylor was more effective than Brady on dropbacks he averaged more yards per attempt did better scrambling and had less turnovers than Brady.

Via Mike Rodak of ESPN.com, Bills coach Sean McDermott said Friday afternoon that quarterback Tyrod Taylor would start next week’s preseason game against the Ravens.

He also added that he has “all the confidence in the world” in Taylor.

It didn’t necessarily sound that way last night, when he expressed disappointment in Taylor’s play against the Eagles and praised rookie Nathan Peterman, and said they’d “evaluate” the position going forward.

Coaches get in the habit of talking like coaches, and in doing so sometimes paint themselves into a corner. While McDermott and new G.M. Brandon Beane aren’t beholden to Taylor in any meaningful way, he seems to be the best option at the moment, so it’s best to make sure he hears them saying it.
