I'm afraid you're being a square here. This is a caucus, not a primary. Hillary can win here with less total votes. It's a county thing. Bernie will win huge in a few young, college counties, but Hillary will rack up wins in the numerous smaller counties.

Another poll just released off the wire.

    AMR(American Research Group)

Another win Bernie, this one by a 48%-45% edge over Hillary.

This is three straight poll wins for Bernie in Iowa.

Fish, do you understand the caucus dynamics in Iowa? It's not a primary. It's not simple total votes.

anything can happen in the Iowa caucus, including payoffs. TRMS reminded us that the Iowa Republican Caucus case when three ron paul aides indicted for buying votes, the irony is Michelle B did the same exact thing with the same guy. Guy just pleaded guilty on this very case.

so yeah the Iowa caucuses are gangster she reported, also she explained that in 2012 the winner was reported and then changed and then changed again. So anything can happen in Iowa. Those polls are BS.

of course this is the R side, not sure about the D's. I am thinking the D's do things differently

because NBC says so? i say: nearly 50% of iowa democrats consider themselves socialist. bernie does very well with rural whites (he gets 20% of republican voters in his state). iowa is the same state that voted for barack hussein obama, it hardly seems like a lock that they go with the conventional candidate. plus the caucus favors the candidate of enthusiasm, which is clearly bernie.

based on all these facts: anyone with bernie at 2/1 has a damn good bet. this thing is basically a flip. i'd lean towards bernie being a small fav.

and he's been blasting this oyster the last few days in iowa.

he's got his swag on! he's the candidate with the confidence right now. hillary just looks desperate and panicky. her advisers are really penetrating stupid. they handled this whole thing terribly, again!

Just don't waste your money on BS if he's up against Trump in the general. He will get destroyed.

if bernie somehow won presidency it would be the saddest one-term president since carter. Sanders would accomplish nothing as president because no one in congress will work with him on his mathematically asinine, oh I could have just said socialists, idea's.

Would you rather have Bernie or Hillary win Brooksy if you had to make a choice? I'd take Bernie over Hillary any day of the week and twice on Sunday..

Then he will win big time in New Hampshire. Then he will get destroyed in South Carolina, and that will be the beginning of the end for Bernie. He can give Hillary a good fight in some of the Liberal States, but he has ZERO chance of winning any Southern State.

tough choice, the stock market and I would certainly profit off hillary because she is the exact opposite of a liberal if you ignore her words and focus on her actions; she is a capitalist

But, I'd rather have bernie and forgo the profit for 4 years. Bernie would only be a one term president and no one will work with him so he can't do the majority of the things he campaigns on. Even if he won he would never get the changes he fantasizes about. That way hillary can't be president and no real damage done by bernie.

They said the same thing about Obama 8 years ago - no way he could win the southern primaries - but the black vote turned out and the distaste for Hillary in the south was underestimated because she's not her husband. You never know.

First of all, do you think the black vote is going to be nearly as large this time around as last? Just who do you think the blacks who take the time to vote will vote for? Frankly I hope that the blacks turn out en masse and support the winning candidate. It makes my job easier. I will have a much easier time getting whites to vote for the Republican Candidate because blacks are not liked at all out here now. It is much worse for them now than it was 8 years ago, thanks to their "boy". Now just how much effort I make in defeating the Democratic nominee depends on who the GOP nominates. If they nominate Trump or Cruz, they had better be prepared to dip into their fat war chests and come up with some nice cash. It will take that to get me to campaign for either one of those idiots.

Agree that Bernie needs to win Iowa. After NH the states set up big time for Hillary. Bernie needs to build momentum and the only chance to do that is to win the first two states.
