In those 4 games, Cousins QB rating was 69,68,69, and 91 for an average of 74. That is horrific. He also had QB ratings of 68 against Miami, 69 against NYG, and 57 against NYJ. Really this guy was fortunate enough to get to play against a lot of shit defenses and he racked up numbers against some of them, but he didn't have 1 decent game all year long against a .500 team or better. He didn't win a single game against a team with a winning record. So what happens next year when the NFC East is decent again ? What happens next year when he doesn't get 13 out of 16 regular season games against teams that finish with 7 wins or less ? I say that Washington and Cousins will definitely do a "first to worst" next year. I hope they come out with a season win total on Wash next year of 7 1/2 or 8 on the strength of all the Cousins ball washers. This team will be lucky to finish 5-11 next year.

Cousins was vastly improved this year, he is coming into his own as a QB. The Redskins aren't very good as a team or as a receiver corps.

Not a skins fan but I been seeing cousins play past couple years and always felt he was better than rg3. First, he he has a great arm. He can pretty much make every throw. I think his issue is two fold though, first size, he's short comparatively, I guess Brees had same issue but definitely not mobile as athletic. Second he is a creature of habit. Meaning as soon as things don't go according to hameplan, he has difficulty improvising and making a play. Overall, I think he would excel in a good system with great talent around him, similar to Alex Smith maybe. I have seen him make much better throws than smith but again his limitations are athleticism. He is a an extremely hard worker so I think to say this is the best we will see of him is inaccurate.

you obviously didn't watch too many skins games this year considering your idiotic and dumbass post...this was Cousins first year as a starter...yes, there were growing pains but he showed the world what he is capable of and that is being an elite, upper echelon QB in this league...he was ranked in the top 10 in just about every statistical category for a QB...Cousins was NFC player of the week like 3 times and NFC player of the month....He utilized all of our WR's, especially TE Jordan Reed...he's got a strong arm and is extremely accurate...cousins will only get better with more reps and starts...and that we have a real GM in Scot McCloughan building the team around him, the Skins will be a formidable team for many years to come...HAIL!...

PS..don't take my word it...listen to all of the scouts, coaches, GM's around the NFL saying all of these superlatives about Cousins...and guys like Bill Cowher, Ted Bruschi, Herm Edwards, Ray Lewis, Steve Young, etc!...all praising him...and I trust their opinions over yours!...

Apples and Oranges....RG3 is dogshit and a one trick pony gimmick who had no business being an NFL QB...Shanahan was clever enough to run a zone read option scheme which made Robert look a lot better than he was...RG3 is also very fragile and has a paper jaw...too injury proned...now mix in the fact that he can't read defenses, holds on to the ball too long, etc, etc. and now you have a recipe for disaster at the QB position....Kirk Cousins is the exact opposite of all those aforementioned deficiencies and also can play the position from the pocket, something that RG3 was incapable of doing....
