Very simple: correlated events. If better team doesn't cover the spread, most likely because of the poorer offensive performance than expected, the game more likely to go UNDER. And vice versa. Works good with 2nd half bets in basketball and football

Sure. Gambling doesn't do it for me any more. Usually all I try to do is win $15K - $20K when I'm in States in November/December where I can actually make bets and watch games during day time. When I'm back to Europe, I stop betting and just spend winnings on good food and women. If I don't touch my paycheck for several months or so, then it's all worth it
