#47From a matchup standpoint, Bama should maul state. I wouldn't be surprised if it's like 17-0 at halftime but the game is being totally dominated by Bama. State is going to have trouble moving the ball imo.
Teams that try to play the same style as Bama, against Bama, get absolutely destroyed.
Michigan State is going to try to run the ball and play good defense. Bama will do the same but Bama is bigger, stronger, faster, and better at just about every position.
The only type of team that could have a chance against this front 7 of Bama would be a team that runs the spread offense and has a mobile QB.
Clemson or OU will give Bama a really stout test. I would pound Bama here and then pound the other side in the title game. Bama hasn't faced any really good QBs all year long. They will in the title game.Comment -

#51Called this game to a tee.
I didn't bet the previous game because I was biased. Honestly, I was surprised my Sooners were favored. We have no offensive line and our defense is built to stop spread teams. Clemson can actually put a hat on a hat and run the ball when they need to. They aren't a finesse team. After the first half when OU was winning, Clemson just went to smash mouth football and dominated.
The reason OU lost to Texas is because the Texas d-line dominated our o-line. Clemson did the same and made OU one dimensional. On defense it didn't help that OU was missing a star DT and our starting ILB. With that said, that can't be an excuse if you're a program like OU. You're supposed to have depth.
Anyway, enough of the drunk rambling. I think Clemson is going to beat Alabama. Watson is just the right guy to have success against that defense. He reminds a little bit of Vince Young with how fluid he is.
I also think the Clemson defense will do well stopping Bama's offense.
The best thing to happen tonight was for Bama to blow out Michigan State and look unstoppable. Hopefully we get Clemson at like +5.5.Comment -
