You mentioned they got destroyed by LSU then say USF should win by a touchdown or more. How is USF comparable to LSU? I like the ex coach and player facing his old team angle plus USF has a strong rushing attack, but not sure if USF D can hold WKU the entire game.

I didn't mean to compare them to LSU but more of strength of schedule for USF compared to WKU. USF played a few too 25 teams this year and played them close. WKU got destroyed by the only couple of "competitive" teams they played

I know what you mean, and I understand USF has been playing well, but can we trust them to be competitive here? Let's just say I wouldn't be surprised to see USF to win, but I also don't expect it neither

WKU's only other loss, besides 48-20 @ LSU, was a 38-35 shootout @ Indiana. Both WKU and USF are 1-2 vs FBS Power 5. WKU is 4-1 vs FBS winning, while USF is 2-3 vs FBS winning.

Like you I'm an hour outside of Tampa and have watched both teams every time they've been on. Great stuff. Throw out USF's first four -- since then they've played lights out, going 7-1 SU and ATS (lost to Navy). Jaws dropped across the football universe when they curb-stomped Temple 44-23, a game that was never even close. Yeah, THOSE Bulls.

So yes, it's tough to go against the Bulls here, except that WKU has also swept the floor with just about everybody. Despite LSU shortening that game in Baton Rouge with handoff to Fournette followed by handoff to Fournette, WKU's Doughty still dropped 325 yds and three TD's on the Tigers. Those figures are probably the lowest likely vs the Bulls. Two TDs more than that, we're talking 35 pts.

I'm thinking this one goes to the wire. A treat to watch.

bunch of Mumbai jumbo you just said. Just take a look at the schedule, stats misleading that you post. As quite a few of USF opponents were former top 25 who dropped out. USF by 7+

WKU only real competition was LSU and Indiana if you wanna call it that. Both losses

USF played FSU, Navy, Memphis, temple and you could argue even the sub par teams they played and beat were tougher than WKUs opponents. Such as Cincinnati, at east Carolina and even at Connecticut .

Shddule le not even close but you can post some stats that make it seem like a lean your way. USF easy

Wouldn't be surprised at USF by seven at all. My "mumbo-jumbo" was meant to illustrate that these two are close in quality, but especially that USF deserves every ounce of the respect they're getting at the windows. WKU faced weaker, but killed them accordingly. Both are going in with tons of momentum and confidence.

mumbo jumbo was disrespectful, I apologize. I'm just not an analytics guy, a lot of those stats are misleading in my opinion. Let me know your thoughts at halftime, hopefully we have a good one brewing
