When I was younger(like 8 or 9) my mom and dad almost got divorced becasue my dad wouldn't take the Santa and Reindeer off of the front porch roof until after Easter. The neighbors were making fun of us.

My proposed idea for the new tree was get a small Charlie Brown tree and place it on top of the gifts and then throw it out the day after Christmas, but she wouldn't go for it.

This weekend. Real tree. Wife has already been complaining that her decorations haven't been brought down from the attic. She would start decorating in Oct if I let her.

This morning, she saw on Facebook that her friend's dad remodeled her downstairs, and she is yelling at me because her friend "doesn't even have a husband but gets her downstairs redone." Mind you, I have remodeled everything downstairs recently except the fireplace and refinishing the dining room table (doing that this weekend). No lie though, she is yelling and scaring the kids.
