Never in doubt. Royals were close all night. Matz was given a wide zone and lobing up junk curves that the Royals didn't take advantage of, though hard to when you're down in the count and getting rung up on balls. Not to mention Conforto getting a second chance after an obvious strike 3 that led to the homer.

But, good job Terry. Clippard shouldn't even be anything more than an emergency reliever but is a savior when you see him come out. Could have had Familia out there for two, if you hadn't just used him for no reason and gave the Royals a look at him again.
