Listen, I know I haven't had the best track record the last couple days, maybe past year to some of you guys. But when I feel very confident about a bet I will let you know. This isn't a homer Dolphins bet, this isn't a random ASU heartbreaker bet, this is something I'm playing with supreme confidence and I suggest you do as well.
I am going back to the well and digging deep to actually give you guys a winner here. Let it be known, I am actually a strong capper whether you believe it or not. Sometimes I post too many plays for action/boredom but this is not one of them.
Let's analyze this...UCF is getting +17 for a FIRST HALF! UCF is 7-1 covering that outrageous line this year. The only loss coming to UCONN by 20 at half when Justin Holman threw 2 picks in the 2nd quarter in own territory. On the contrary, CINCY is 1-7 in covering this outrageous line. The only cover coming in game 1 vs Alabama a&am. For Cincy to cover this line they would first have to put up over 17 points in the first half, which they should do. However this also means they would virtually have to shutout UCF to cover this line. Cincy has a powerful offense yes, but also a very suspect defense. Holman is good for at least 14 in the first half vs this defense which means CIncy would have to put up at least 31 to push and over that to get a cover.
I will admit, I am a student at UCF , but I can guarantee you this, you haven't seen me make a thread about a play FOR or AGAINST them this year. I am also not a fan of the team, never was a Bortles homer, etc but I do know this team quite well.
Sure the team looks a mess but perception isn't always reality. UCF has covered this line against better teams such as temple and Houston in just the past 2 weeks. This will be my only CFB play this weekend as I'm that confident in it, go ahead and laugh because it's a "first half" bet but this is supreme value here, UCF tends to compete in the opening quarters then falter at the end, I don't want any part of that.
