Let's be honest, who really wanted to see Mets in Word Series?

Besides mets fans of course. This World Series is going to be a penetrating snooze fest. Royals-Mets, probably be the lowest rates word series in awhile. Praying the jays make the come back so we can have a bit of excitement.

Plus seems like the Mets are in the world series every year, I wanted to see somebody new like the Cardinals or Giants this year.

No shit. Very good for bases having the Mets in. Of course Cubs would have been good as well.

    Terps gets it.

Idc what market they're in. They're a boring team. MLB would have killed for a jays-Cubs matchup. But instead get the royals-mets, If you don't see the difference I feel bad for you son.

dont care to see the Yankees little brother take on the single, bunt, and run champions.

    Bitter Cubbies backer alert.

How are the Mets a boring baseball team? They have one of the best offenses in baseball, four pitchers in their 20's throwing 95-100MPH gas, a lights-out closer, and a mix of veterans/youngins.

Lol I don't care about losing 2 units on the Cubs, I don't root for them and am not a big fan. Just really didn't want to see the Mets in the word series. Mets fans obviously blinded, you're opinion is not valid here.

Not of fan of any team here, get used to seeing Mets being World Series contenders for the next five years or so, or as long as current rotation is together.

Nationals don't have and never had four starters in their 20s that besides throwing at least 95MPH, also have great control with excellent strikeout-to-walk ratios.

Once Murphy tests positive for HGH, can someone else vacate their World Series title? 1 man team.

i find it funny how the playoffs have been dominated by one single player who's not even
capabale. Same with Arietta for those who think I'm just bashing the mets.

Think it's good and really don't care who gets in or wins just a bases fan more than anything. New blood is good much as I respect and even like Cards/Giants that movie was getting old.

Far as snoozefest goes I highly doubt it! Mets/Kc full of high energy stars and great players definitely exciting matchup for the true fan.

Seriously an idiotic thread. OP is the type of casual baseball fan that enjoys watching 4/5 hour games with a 10-8 final score and tons of HRs. Doesn't know what real baseball is. He says he wants to see the Jays, obviously cause of their offense, then goes on to accuse Murphy of taking PEDs lol. Bitter much?

Flipside they may not be household names to the novice fan but there are plenty of great players on both squads. If you cannot see the potential in this series your either a butthurt homer who's team was knocked out or don't follow the gm much.

A healthy amount, and I do, but I do not own a Segway. As Sammy Sosa would say, betting on the Mets every game during the postseason has been berry, berry good to me.
