People think they smaller non strip places are not good

Yes the crowd at times is somewhat intimidating but its a trmedpous place and you will meet many locals to educate you about the real las vegas

Best place I ever ate at in Vegas was Robuchon at the MGM. If anyone is ever in Vancouver try Miku sushi or the Hawksworth.

Best place for steak in Vegas is easily Texas De Brazil
Not only is it all you can eat filet and top sirloin (my fav) along with 18 other meats, but the salad/soup bar is outstanding.
Since it's not on the strip (Town Square which is right off of it about 2 miles from Mandalay Bay), the $49 per person rate is very reasonable.
Place is always packed by 6:30-7pm, I prefer to make my reservations at 530-545, where the steak-servers are more efficient when you special request your meat and how you prefer it cooked.
Dessert recommendation: Brazilian Cheesecake

Paying $200+ for a steak dinner on the strip is just insane when you have this option. But then again, I'm local. People visiting don't care about the prices as much. If that's the case- Gordon Ramsey's in the Paris is the place to go.

Ate at BLT Steak at Ballys last time I was in town and want try Gordon Ramsey at the Paris, I had a Steak at Gordon Ramsey's Pub at Caesars and it was good . Have 93k ( $930.00) reward credits to use still at a Caesars Property.
