Actually no. Finland is (as are Island and Faroe Islands) often considered as scandinavian country in common usage, but "officially" only Sweden, Norway and Denmark are scandinavian countries. Originally "scandinavia" relates to scandinavian peninsula, which consist of Sweden, Norway and small part of northwestern Finland, but historically also Denmark is usually considered as part of scandinavia.

In Finland we usually use term "Nordic countries" which relates to Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland, or term (especially in weather forecasts) "Fenno-scandia" which relates to scandinavian peninsula, Finland and parts of western Russia including Kola peninsula.

Now there is a bit of information that you will never need :-)
