#39Wolves need to get a top 3 pick.
Add Okafor, Towns or Russell with Wiggins and LaVine.
Flip also needs to get a real coach and just be the GM. Hopefully Hoiberg takes the job.Comment -

#40Love isn't the greatest fit in Cleveland but he's very important. The damn guy is averaging a double double. Plus he's over 80% at the FT line. And 3rd on the team with 3 point percentage . Are you people kidding me? All of that while being option #3. We done now?Comment -

#42They are almost as good as guaranteed a top 5 pick this coming draft.
Every player in the top 6 would fit other than Justise Winslow.Comment -

#46Love wants to go back to his native Southern California, but yeah, he's a real bitch. Not a team player. Lebron is fed up with him. As for Minny, sucky place to live but Wiggins and LaVine are 2 guys that are 19 and 20 years old. How much better does it get than that??Comment -

#48Wiggins trade to the Twolves cost him millions in endorsements.
Initial reports suggested a 10 year, $180 million dollar deal. Currently making $2 million instead.
The trade isn't the only thing responsible as I am positive the DRose debacle really made Adidas wary of signing young players to such long term deals.Comment -

#51LOL..You can always tell the casual fans from the actual followers of the game...If you send Kevin Love back to Minnesota..he puts up 20 and 15 every night..but the team misses the playoffs because the Minny front office continues to surround their best talent with mediocre players..like they did to KG and will do to Wiggins...But what did people say? "love hasn't won anything, empty stats"....LOL
Love was brought to Cleveland to space the floor for Kyrie and Lebron..he was never going to be the player he was in Minny...those numbers are not coming back...this is what happened to Pau, it happened to Bosh...but the difference between Pau, Bosh and Love is that Love is complaining...and having a tough time accepting his role..Wiggins would never have complained...he simply would be doing the job Shumpert is doing now...which is on the defensive end...Wiggins numbers in a Cavs uniform would never amount to what they currently are in Minny...
He can pad his resume...get the experience he needs...then in 6 years..he can bolt to a contender for a ring after Minny surrounds another high draft pick with useless talent...hopefully its Toronto..lolComment -

#52Twins actually have a plan, their farm system is loaded, and I mean stacked.
Once the talent shakes out, they have to pay them, and keep them.
Dozier and Danny Santana are keepers, they got like 8 more kids like that down on the farm too.
Regarding the T-Wolves, how about that Thad Young for KG trade, huh?
Now, having said that, Wolves have some pieces.
Pekovic is a legit center, he ain't Gasol, or Boogie, or Jordan, but he's a legit pivot. Dieng is a good big man too.
Justin Hamilton looks like the can be a decent big man with some polish. Wasn't he like the D League MVP or something?
Mo Williams did a nice job for Rubio.
Problem is with Minny is they have too many shooters that do pretty much nothing else.
Like Shabazz Muhammed, God forbid he should rebound.
K-Mart can score too, but he coughs up the ball too much.Comment -

#56Andrew Wiggins is in contract talks with the Minnesota Timberwolves about an extension and believes he is worth the max.
Starting wing Andrew Wiggins is eligible for a contract extension this off-season prior to the Oct, 16 deadline. Wiggins is coming off his rookie deal and ready to cash in.
The Crossover’s Ben Golliver spoke with Wiggins about his contract status in Las Vegas at an Adidas event. Read the full interview here.
While Wiggins said that he is taking a “day by day” approach to the contract discussions, he didn’t waver when asked whether he was worthy of a max contract, which could reach $148 million over five years with a starting salary of $25.5 million. “I definitely do,” Wiggins told The Crossover. “Nothing less.”Comment -

#57The Wolves are working on signing Andrew Wiggins to a five-year, maximum salary extension, Sid Hartman of the Star Tribune reports. However, Hartman cautions that those talks are in the early stages at this point.
“First of all, I think he likes it here, we like him, he can get the very best contract from me, better than he can get from anyone else,” Owner Glen Taylor said. “I don’t think we have any trouble of offering him the max anyway.”
Taylor added that the team plans on extending Wiggins this offseason and doing the same with Karl-Anthony Towns next summer.
“We are talking to [Wiggins’] agent right now about extending him out another five years, so we can do that,” Taylor said. “Karl, we won’t do that until next year. Wiggins, we want to sign him to a long-term contract, we want to keep him here, and we’re negotiating with his agent. But we just started that negotiation, and we have quite some time to get that done.”
Taylor believes the negotiations should be harmonious since Wiggins will get the maximum amount possible under the new CBA. “We’re not really negotiating anything like that [money],” Taylor said. “There shouldn’t be any problem.”
The exact monetary amount of the extension won’t be known until next offseason when the 2018/19 salary cap details are calculated. Based on projections, a five-year, max extension for Wiggins would net him slightly under $148MM, as Luke Adams of Hoops Rumors recently shared.Comment -
