Anyone know the percentages for empty-net goals in NHL?
Like, in one-goal games, when the goalie gets pulled, how often does the other team put it in and win by two??

    Anyone?

I'd like to know the exact percentage.

This stat is meaningless because it is time dependent. A team with an empty net in only 25 seconds is not the same as an empty net with 55 seconds. So you won't be comparing same results.

I remember reading somewhere that pulling the goalie increases the chances of scoring by twenty percent and increases the chances of the opposition scoring by eighty percent.

I just want to know, if a team is down by 1 goal late in the game, what is the probability that the +1.5 for that team loses because of an empty net goal.

I dont care if the losing team pulls the goalie or not (sometimes they cant because they are pinned in their own zone). I am just sick of losing my +1.5 bets because of a bogus empty net goal.

lol stats wont be accurate because sometimes they pull the goalie out even when they're down 2 points.. like what happened today with the bluejackets

Also some times when they pull the goalie with one goal down they score and tie the game which also wouldn't show on the stats.

Empty nets seem down this year, could be my imagination though.

I understand the reasoning for the question, but I'm not sure knowing the answer changes anything in the manner in which a wager is placed.
