My square friend lost his bet on the Cincinnati Bengals and is now doubling up on Green Bay. Is this the normal trend?

Yes. The "average" bettor bets whatever he's up or down on Sunday night and then does the same thing for Monday night. The fact that the games are in primetime on national television helps too.

I'm not sure about the average bettor betting whatever he is up, I would estimate about 5 times as much money than on an average Sunday game although I have never seen any figures. Sunday and Monday night wagering is about the same in money
