I come across in this forum sometimes as a meanie with an attitude when I add my 2cent opinions but I'm really a pretty nice and decent guy.I think venting here is a steam valve outlet for me.hehe!I guess when your annonymous you feel like you can spout off because no one knows you.In alot of my today's posts you can probably read into it that I had a bad beat bee in my bonnet.
You hear of bad beats,whammies,black clouds over your head and the lovable loser.When it comes to inheriting money that's some of the terms that could be used for me.I'm to getting beat out of receiving inheritances as Chevy Chase was to winning a hand of black jack in Las Vegas vacation.I bust my butt doing favors for relatives out of the goodness of my heart not expecting much in return.It's always yes sir,when do you want me to do it,where do you want me to take you.etc.I mow and manicure the family grave plots while my other relatives don't even pay a visit to the cemetery on Memorial Day for a visit.I get along with the younger relatives even though the vast majority are indigent gamblers,meth heads etc.Some worse.
In the past 3 years I have had so many elderly uncles,aunts etc.pass away and most had no kids.I was the next of kin in many cases.These people left their holdings and belongings to practical strangers that were shirt tail relatives through dysfunctional 3rd marriages where they weren't even blood relatives.These people who got the assets were aggressive people who more or less hounded and coaxed my relatives to sign property over to them.I never thought it was my business to even ask them about what they had or who they were going to leave it to because that would be rude and disgusting.
The moral of the story is,if you get old and start losing it,watch out who you become a sucker to.hehe!I have been given a ton of free bets from sportsbooks run by total strangers 3,000 miles away and that's alot more than I ever inherited from relatives and I didn't have to mow the lawn for free at their headquarters,shovel snow or drive them all over kingdom come or be nice to them if they were A-holes like I had to be to my relatives. hehe!
I know people who inherit money on a yearly basis from relatives they didn't even know existed.Then to boot alot of these geezers they inherited money from ran up medicare bills of a million bucks so I have to drag my sorry ass out of bed each day to go to work to pay higher taxes so they can give an inheritance away.I'm totally against the government thieving peoples life savings when they die and think there shouldn't be an inheritance tax but it really eats at a persons craw to see how this game works.It's the luck of the draw,that's how the cookie crumbles but it sucks!hehe!
