I recently had an issue with BetUSA, one of the Sportingbet group.
After requesting a cashout for $8500, I was informed that $420 would be removed and I'd be receiving only $8080. The $420 represented all the bonuses I had received on my account since opening it, and this in spite of wagering the required amount. Sportingbet support were adamant that this money would not be paid, and displayed not a small amount of arrogance in telling me this over the phone.
I got in contact with Bill, who forwarded all my information to the BetUSA manager and put me in touch with him via email.
To cut a not too long story short, I received the money yesterday, about two weeks later, to my Neteller.
I was given no clue as to why the $420 was originally earmarked for permanent residence in the Sportintgbet coffers. Never mind - the money is where it belongs now.
Thank you, Bill; that was a quiet, swift and dignified resolution. It certainly beat the hell out of taking Sportingbet through the UK courts, which would have most likely ended up costing me more than $420, and was what I was seriously envisaging a couple of weeks ago!
