Telling you. The modern NFL player is the most spoiled guy ever.

Talk to the old-school players who built the league. Guys like Chuck Bednarik and Mike Ditka. Ever think about thanking these guys for giving them a living?

This guy has a chance to play with Daniels. ROY, hottest name in the league. Take your trade-request and stick it.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

No way. I'll now look to fade WASH. Whatever their nickname is.

Show this guy the door. Riggins can boot him in the ass on the way out.

This guy from Dallas (Parsons) is still bitching about his contract. Let it go, my man. Win a few games...and then maybe you'll have some leverage.

I repeat my stance on NFL tickets: *I will never again pay full freight for an NFL ticket.

...I will only attend if I can get it at < Face Value. The players have turned the contract into a full-time game. And they pass it onto the fans (while not caring one bit).

I'll be very surprised if Wash. does not get a deal done with him soon.

Of course, I've been surprised before.

He signed and should play for that the last year of his contract. If he sits, he's blowing a huge opportunity. As you said, Daniels and Washington may have a big year.

Chucky, I am with you regarding these modern athletes being spoiled babies. However, I feel like it is throughout sports and athletes are more coddled and soft now(as is the culture).

Also agree that I am not very interested in paying astronomical prices for tickets that support this behavior. I'm happy enough watching games at home or not at all and just checking the scores etc.

I’ve said this before about horse racing but I will say it again about the NFL.
The fans have the ability to run the show. The fan base pays everyone and when that money dries up, the game changes or goes away.
The team owners bought into a concept to make money. A investment. Without the money, it changes or ceases to exist.
As a fan, you are but one voice but as a fan base and a total group , you have all the power.
I guess it’s good that people don’t realize that. But it is absolutely true.

yeah man, totally different era now—those old-school guys played for love of the game, not just contracts and followers. hard to see the same grit today.

Grit and toughness do not exist for the most part nowadays in this world.

No way. My stance is firm.

I'd show him the door. Play someone hungrier.

WASH mgmt has already told him as much. He's under contract, and that's it.

The escalation of Pro Sports contracts is beyond insane. They can get lost. I'm not going to be the fan that gets suckered into these price-hikes.

Let's say they DID give him a bump up in pay. Is he lobbying for his Off Linemen to get a commensurate raise?
