PSG have faced and beaten stronger opponents, they came through the tougher side of the bracket, eliminating Bayern Munich (2-0) and Real Madrid, and thrashed Inter Miami 4-0 earlier in the knockouts.

PSG have been unstoppable in knockout matches, winning their last five across all competitions by a combined score of 18-0.
