The 2025 NBA Draft goes tonight. It appears the draft will start at pick #3 as it seems like a foregone conclusion that Dallas will take Cooper Flag #1 and the Spurs will take Dylan Harper at #2.
Will Philly and Charlotte hang onto the # 3 & 4 picks or try and trade down?
I only made one bet so far with the FanDuel 50% profit boost. Ace Bailey #5 pick +380 boosted to +570. While odds suggest Oklahoma PG Jeramiah Fears is the likely selection for the Jazz at 5, they already have Keonte George and Isaiah Collier, not that they are guaranteed stars but both showing potential.
Ace Bailey's team has said they want to avoid the teams selecting 3-5 so that is definitely priced into these odds. I just think there is a better than 15% chance that Utah takes a chance on a high upside talent like Bailey at #5. Plus a small chance New Orleans trades up to 5 to get in front of the Wizards if they really want him.
Could be completely wrong but worth a shot.
