I have always found it quite funny how much several of these hoes hate Clark. The white girl came in and stole all the thunder and now many have their panties all in a bunch.

Nah, it's definitely racism. If she was some hood rat who made bank she wouldn't be catching all this hate, not to mention elbows and bumps... I mean someone has to be the highest paid player, correct? I don't know if CC is, but she's well on her way and that's before considering her lucrative endorsement deals.

Racism sucked when I was a kid. In time, I started to understood it . But it has swung around to be a two way street the last few decades and all that does IMO is prolong the stupidity behind it. Those people look like fools IMO.
One cool thing about by days at the racetrack. There was very little of that there. Certainly some, but way way less than out on the street.

Short answer: Personality.
I've heard this from others, and I tend to agree: Paige has a much more pleasant demeanor and is extremely likable, whereas CC sometimes comes across as arrogant.

All the WNBA players (black-or-white) should thank Clark. Their salaries will double in a few years.

In fairness, a few girls (like Sabrina) have appeared on commercials. So, it's not ALL Clark. But Clark does figure to become the face of the league.

When Eminem started getting attention for his hip-hop/rapping skills, I know there were many African Americans who did not like a white man dominating a black man's genre.

Conversely, when Tiger was winning majors hand over fist, I know many stuffy white men who did not like a black man dominating a 'white man's sport'.

Maybe, but most Tiger's fellow golfers loved him. Basically if you made the cut and finished, say, 20th in a tournament your check more than doubled after a few years of Tiger. Players who didn't have big endorsements yet had the skill to be a regular on the tour benefited most and directly felt his impact.

I have no real opinion on the WNBA because I find it impossible to watch women play basketball.

I get being passionate about Caitlin — she’s amazing. But let’s not make it about race. Not all criticism is hate, and the league’s physical play has always been intense.

Her mom is white, she played ball in the ACC, I think.

So then, like I said, racism. The difference with Tiger is that he was warmly embraced by his colleagues on the links. I'm sure there were pockets of old fuddy duddy types who weren't thrilled to see a colored man's meteoric rise, but they had no skin in the game.

Caitlin endures poor treatment from players and pundits who'd be singing her praises if she wasn't so pale. It's racism mixed with jealousy but no one can bring themselves to say it when it's whites on the receiving end.
