OK, it was just another NBA playoff donation game to get another home gate at Madison Square Garden this time. The Celtics are famous for doing it. They just did it in the Orlando series and have been doing it since the fifties. The Knicks were told to lay down in this one and they complied.

First time caller, longtime listener.
I don't know, but if this is true, then why did the Lakers lose at home in game 5.
Is Donic and/or Lebron not a draw anymore?
Why did a Warriors team, about to get Curry back in Game 6, lose in game 5?
Warriors seem to be everyone's darling.
Giannis in game 5?
The Cavs, #1 seed, at home in game 5?
Again, maybe it's true. I don't pretend to know.
But I have found, if I'm not careful, I only see what justifies a preexisting belief/desire/prejudice/whatever I already carry.
But yes, a game 6 in NY vs BOS on a standalone Friday night could not have worked out more perfectly for the NBA.
