a much better comparison would be the best player on an nba championship team and what he had as a surrounding cast.

using MVP is so subjective because that is an award the writers decide on, right?

    i don't like it.

      Jokic has had.
without a doubt LeBron had way way way less talent on his 07 cavs team who lost to Dynasty Spurs and in 2015 2017 and 2018 when he lost to dynasty Warriors.

Jokic got to play the 8th seed in the west Miami Heat LOL

LeBron went to Miami. The year before Wade was 5th in MVP voting and 3rd the year before. Bosh was 12th in MVP voting the year before.

Then he goes to Cle where Love was 12th in MVP voting the year before and AS Irving put up 20.8/game. Both Love and Irving started 75 games.

The he goes to LA where the Lakers are bad the first year. The next year he brings over AD who was 3rd in MVP voting the year before.

Not only did LeBron play with All-Stars, he played with the best in the league.

Bosh got blood clots and was out of the league. Kyrie and Love both got hurt, else they easily win 2 more titles. My point was that young LeBron played with a lot of GLeague players. Those early years rosters were straight garbage and he took those teams to Conference finals and league finals. Carlos Boozer screwed over the Cavs when he left. He was an all star. The Cavs most likely would have won a title in Levrons first few years if Boozer wasn’t a liar an overall dick. That killed the franchise.

Jokic is fantastic. He’s doing stuff I’ve never ever seen before. But he has an underrated cast of teammates. Gordon and Murray are definitely all stars. Christian Braun underrated. Westbrook all time all star. Porter Jr a bit inconsistent but talented.

Jokic had his worst game in forever. He was 0-10 from 3 but his teammates picked him up. No way was early LeBron years rosters Cavs winning a game if LeBron had a bad game.

very true but even though writers decide it we can agree he deserves it to some extent so it is not completely invalid
