Should I be worried about having funds in this book. If Philly wins tonight(+4.5-110) they will take a beating I would figure. They can't possibly have any action on Seattle can they at -4.5-110.

Hey Dire...i am an SIA player with most of my funds in there...i just talked to them and they assured me that everything is fine. They said they have other outlets for revenue (poker, casino, etc...).

I think that -4.5/+4.5 means that most everyone is on SEA otherwise they would put it at -3.5 where it is most everywhere else. All their clients must be pounding SEA tonight. In fact, if SEA covers then SIA might be in trouble as I am sure they will be rooting for PHIL tonight. Sportsinsights is reporting 74% of bets being placed on SEA...with SIA it is probably closer 80/20 or even 85/15.

    Good luck Dire-wolf

guys, if anything i'd just be worried on maybe the slow pay factors starting again. they seem to have a history on that. so, thats something we have to keep in mind when playing at SIA.

I would think SIA would be doing very well. They probably get a lot of action on their dog lines because they tend to be so pumped up.

I agree with Marc. My opinion is that SIA gets balanced action as this is the way that they move their lines meaning that they are fine.

It's hard to figure what kind of action they get. I hear they get a lot of square action, but with their dog lines I guess it must even out. You would figure the bets their getting on the dogs must be higher amounts, so yeah when you think about it their probably doing fine. Tonight they must have tons of max bets on Philly at +4.5-105 with the free middle that is available.
Buddybear, isn't it amazing when think about all these people that will take Seattle at SIA that have no clue what the line is everywhere else or can't be botherd to open another account somewhere else.

            Good luck to you also!

SIA has always done well as a company. They can thank their marketing department for that since customer retention has been terrible in years past. Their problems, or their player's problems, have circulated around their customer service and slow-paying/stalling.

These are unprecedented times for the house and its tough to say how books will react as the figures roll in and the season winds down. A book like SIA can benefit from taking obvious losses like this. They should pay faster than ever and do it with a smile.

Well at this point it really doesn't matter i guess....unbelievable how this year is unfolding. I don't know about you Dire...but I've never seen anything like this. I mean we aren't seeing any backdoor covers either and most of the favorites are covering easily. I mean you could shut the game off at the half and you wouldn't lose any sleep.

I am out of NFL till next year...you get the feeling that Seattle and Phil could play 50 times and Sea would win all 50.

Lot of bad teams this year.

BBD....if you haven't already add PHIL to your list of teams that have given up for the year.
