I have actually spoken to Barry in the past, his Linecrusher model used to be available for sale online and it indeed was really, really good. Then he privatized it and went pure tout. I found the program itself much more useful back in the day than his picks themselves.

From my dealings with Barry, I actually think that what the OP said in Post 1 is spot on. More of a warning against than a promotion for.
