When he won $800,000, Affleck was playing three hands at 20k each. I haven't seen anything, yet, on what he was playing per hand this time around.

I think OP meant Casey Affleck, not Ben the actor. I could be wrong, apologize if I am.

He was on a 4 man team. I heard Vegas Runner talking about this, because he was with them. It was the two of them, a girl, and then some other guy.
The idea is, and it's been used before, that rich actors are chumps, and whatever they win they'll just give back, so nobody really accuses them of being in cahoots with anyone else. VR went onto say that Hard Rock doesn't F around, they treat it as Tresspassing as opposed to just kicking you out.

Why would Affleck need to be on a team?
I can see him doing it himself, just to see if he is capable of it, but at team?
I don't understand that.

Yeah, it was explained, but I didn't understand why. It's not like he has to find a table with a hot deck, I'm pretty sure he just stayed on the one he was on. Somebody else counted for him, I know that much, possibly VR.
VR went on to say that surveillance's main job is to watch the table(s) with the most money changing hands on it, while the rest is normally just recorded, so no matter where Ben was, it was being watched, so that eliminated the "hot table" idea.
I'm not having any luck finding the podcast page I heard it on. I got it from his twitter, if you want to search through for it.
