It's because my Knickies had too many injuries and losses and were so desperate that they had to turn to a Harvard grad, undrafted free agent because they had no other options. It was really more of a "Oh, what the hell" move than a stroke of D'Antonio's genius.
It's because no one thought he could play and people probably just let him do a lot of things that he probably wouldn't have if they actually knew that he'd drop buckets and dish dimes all over their faces. Then Morey thought he could pull one on the Knickies by poison pilling his contract.
He does have a TO problem but that might be more because he was more of a 2 than a 1 in college and the transition is difficult to make let alone in the NBA.
