Lions GM Matt Millen is a big piece of garbage

Is there a bigger piece of useless trash than this guy....the guy has no results to show and to be perfectly honest the team has gone backwards since he took over. Poor front office decisions, waste of high draft picks, hiring unqualified coaches, etc...

So what happens, Millen on the hot seat? Job in jeopardy? Nope just a multi million dollar 5 year extension for his lousy efforts.

If you live in Michigan....please boycot going to the games it's the only way this franchise will respond.

Please bring Wayne Fontes...he's the only coach who could win there.

double B, that was the first thing i said as well. matt millen should be the one getting fired.

this guy has does absolutely nothing in his tenure. the only thing he has done is hire and fire coaches, just to save his own job. the ford family can't be this stupid in regards to there teams direction under millen i wouldn't think. but, from the sounds of it. i think they are.

Mike Ditka basically called Matt Millen a loser that needs to take his share of the blame...he also pretty much said the Ford Family has an equivalent IQ of a monkey to not just retain this guy but to give him a 5 year multi million dollar extension.

Millen is an arrogant, stubborn, idiot. I have seen him in public in PA in his hometown, - he still has a huge estate
about 45 minutes from where he grew up - he is the most obnoxious pro athlete i have ever seen. plus he is a shithead GM

personally, I don't think the guy has done that bad of a job outside of his first year when he hired Marty and signed Hakim and Schroeder to FA deals.

obviously the results could be better but I can't knock his drafts. while his wr's have yet to pan out, I'm not going to bitch about him picking them as I thought they were all decent picks at the time. you never know how some athletes will respond to getting millions, and so far these three haven't reacted well. but they are still young and Roy and BMW have some flashes along with CRog, who was productive when healthy and off the drugs before this year.

I live in the burbs of Detroit and have a theory that many around here believe. It was Ford who told Millen to draft Harrington. He wanted to go in another direction but was overruled. He has taken all of the heat for that and that is why he got the extension. the Fords are loyal people, especially those that are loyal to them (see Wayne Fontes).

hopefully, they can turn this thing around as I still believe the talent is there but Mooch did not utilize it. Kevin Jones needs the ball more and the young WRs need to play instead of being benched or deactivated.
