What is the status of Betphoenix SBR?

I asked and was told that SBR has concerns about their website stability and short term technical challenges. The quality of the book and their B+ rating is solid and no downgrade is being even considered. I think all the major books do transfers with BP although I will need to confirm that.

It will ne nice if the posters have a say in the downgradings instead of who pays or doesn't pay for the banners.

well they were removed from the sbr store before I even built my points up

Hopefully its because of the "short term technical challenges.."

and not the fact 200 degenerates ordered free plays and not one has deposited 50 cents

I can't help but think we are missing a nugget of information here. SBR has stuck with some books through website challenges and short-term technical issues in the past. They have stuck with some books through things I would consider much more serious.

But I don't have any information and don't feel my speculation would be helpful. Hopefully it will all get straightened out sooner rather than later.

Per RIchard in the S&I forum, the sbr banner is only down because of tech issues and will be back up later today.

They have had system problems since they had their downtime. All of our links to them were not working I understand. They were also unable to process SBR freeplays. Some of their system functionality is still not working. If a free play provider has problems processing free plays in a timely fashion the guys in the SBR store take them out. BP thinks they will have a handle on their tech problems today hopefully. If there was something even a little bit wrong there you wouldnt see me in here typing. They are fine. Just a little more patching from their recent system failure.

i was bummed to see that i cant get a freeplay on there anymore in the SBR store its my main book and I finally have enough points duh

The store and sponsorship involves their marketing and isn't necessarily a reflection in their service to players. They weren't able to apply free-plays in the time we list on SBR store and the links they gave us for their banners weren't working. It's a bit of work to edit the sites so players aren't inconvenienced. We plan to talk to them on Monday and verify everything is solid in that area. Like John said, their rating is unchanged and they remain a top option for players and very popular here.

I certainly hope so there Bill. Their site has been much better lately though. For a few weeks there it was a pain to even get bets in and in the 2nd half I had major problems getting in by wagers. If I was them I would have suspended anyone calling people until they got this corrected. I did not enjoy getting phone calls from them to deposit with that problem let me tell you. I basically told them to take a hike until they got it corrected but I did it in a nice way but direct to the point that why would I want to do that with not being able to wager with server problems.
