I like richard sherman, he's definitely becoming elite, but pay homage to the elite ones that still play in the league; charles tillman and darrelle revis.

This guy went to Stanford? There goes their whole "Stanford is at a handicap because of their academic standards" bullshit.

A REAL Stanford guy could have really buried Bayless, and while he was at it could have thrown some dirt on Smith. Could have done it a lot more smoothly and probably in a much more sly way. He was going for hay makers when he was stumbling and bumbling all over himself. But he is obviously not a public speaker or a guy used to making speeches, but still if youre supposedly smart enough to go to Stanford you have to present yourself better than that.

His best move will be if bayless makes fun of this appearance and he (Sherman) goes back on the show and says, "OK skip I give you credit you beat me at your profession you out talked me, now be fair and step on the field with me and see how you fare".

Along similar lines, I was waiting for Skip to say, congratulations, your better than a sports media personality, but I thought you wanted to be the best corner, so why don't we bring it back on topic and compare you to Darrell Revis.

Never seen such a pathetic effort with this guy for the last year to suck himself and try to make himself a star.....He's above average at his position, but definitely not even in Revis' league yet.
Revis never ran his mouth to get himself noticed either. He was just a natural beast.

Don't forget boys...the kid is still 24 years old. For those at least 10 years older than that, I ask you to reflect upon some of the stances you took when you were a young guy finding your way. I like the fact he called Bayless out because Bayless is a self-promoter himself with very little regard for the facts as long as he can craft a controversial viewpoint.

The only thing Sherman did wrong was that he was a bit meandering in his attack but at least he kept his cool. You know he wanted to scream but he kept a lid on it. This could have gone faaaar worse for Sherman. The kid did alright.
