They are saying early in the 26-27 season so likely mid-September. They want to give some time for travel/rest etc so it's possible that it will be the first "home" game of the season. I got an email asking for a deposit of 500$ per person. I think that might be for a package deal though, I need to look into it.

This could potentially be around the time I move my son into a college dorm depending on what school he gets in to. Sorry son, I am going to the Rams game in Oz.

September is AFL finals time in Melbourne. Be like trying to get attention on something else during NFL playoffs. Sep 27 is Grand Final day 2025.

Shame it can't be in January around Aus Open time.

be a great chance for you to see a really big AFL game at the MCG though.

It's possible that they will try and capitalize on that timing. Would love to catch an AFL match, that would be super cool.
