    Niner injuries
The 49ers will start Brandon Allen at quarterback against the Packers in place of an injured Brock Purdy. Defensive end Nick Bosa also will miss the game with injuries to his left hip and oblique.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Is there really much of a dropoff from Purdy to Allen? Allen won't have the game-experience. But I can't imagine that there's much difference in arm-strength.

I'm going out on a limb and going with the NFC West will all be 6-5 after this weekend. The NFL script is predictable.

You mean after decades of NFL not one referee or player has ever snitched about the script??? Those guys must be superhuman to keep a secret like that.

Salud, frank. Hope all is well.

I thought about the Script b4 the Chief/Bill game. How could the Bills NOT win that game S/U?
...Had the Chiefs won, it kills off a lot of late-season drama. Now, it all plays out.

Yeah, Mad. NFL betting in 2024 is so tough.

I really think the Public bets are much stronger now. The oddsmaker doesn't tilt #s they way he used to.

Will be watching. I really think this could be an over-reaction game:

*The Fantasy FB players know about Ayiuk.
*QB adjustment on each side might be too much:
                a) Allen hasn't played too much. 10/6 TD/INT in his career. I really think Purdy would be bad if he was playing on a sub-.500 team.
                b) Packers looked so much better with Willis. I don't rate Love as great at all.

Getting real w/survivor. We have KC, SF, left. Want to use them in the next 3/4 weeks to avoid last couple weeks of possible laydowns. One good thing about SF they will have must win games moving forward. It's a game of attrition as I think only 1 other player has SF.

My likely bet this week is WAS, HOU, MIA, ML parlay 100/96 last look. MIA and Tua are only one hit away from disaster so ... always a risk. I said many weeks ago that knowing who your backup QB is can be so important.

BOL to all, and happy holidays!!

I'm using KC this week simply because I cant see them losing after suffering their first loss vs buffalo. I was thinking of saving them for next week but that will be the raiders super bowl. A lot of people will use houston and detroit this week if still available. I think Tennesse can beat Houston. I think the best game to use SF is at home vs the bears in a few weeks.

Im going KC, Den @ home vs CLE, SF at home vs CHI, BAL @ the giants, bills at home vs pats, week 17 and 18 not sure yet because of potential seeds locked up

                        Looks good. GL.

Look @ it this way. Carolina winning would be a HUGE shock. Panthers would need two 'turnovers and two miracle plays to compete with Kc.

When you think about what KC has done over the past several years it's really pretty amazing. Injuries are such a huge part of success in the NFL. Almost every team who makes a deep run sustains injuries that essentially squash any chance at a return the following year. 9ers are seeing that this year.

50k but it started week 5 so theres still a decent amount of entries alive. This could be a week where no one gets eliminated or ppl get obliterated...I'm hoping for the latter as long as KC doesn't do anything stupid.

I like New England to keep it close today, doesn't mean they'll win. Divisional games are always scary. Miami has been playing better lately. I used them in an earlier week so not an option for me. My only logical options are KC, Houston and Denver..KC seems the most logical and looking ahead I might as well use them this week, it should be the easiest spot for them

Yes, there is that much of a dropoff... There's much more to being an NFL quarterback than "arm strength" or else Ryan Leaf and JaMarcus Russell would be in the HOF.
