Mac, you have great knowledge. Hope you have a great +$ year on your NBA plays/Futures.One comment on the Offensive Efficiency: *I do think 3-pt shooters just get better over time.
...If you back to the early 80s, the 3-pt shot wasn't very effective.
...So much $$ in the game now. The great shooters practice daily and hit a very hi % of their open shots.
Basketball has turned into a middle to upper class sport. You just don’t see kids coming from the inner city. It takes money to get specialized training that is critical. You are way behind if you don’t have money to get access.Leave a comment:

LET EM KNOW…

Yeah, a huge reason is that Chet has gotten bigger and stronger. He still can put on a few more pounds but he is a beast already. He’s finally healthy. His offense is much improved as well. I’m not sure how you guard that offense.Leave a comment:

OKC defense is tremendous. They started locking peeps up. Holmgren made Sengun look bad.Leave a comment:

I was watching some of that Houston-OKC game last night.
Rockets were giving OKC a straight up game for most of the first half, then boom, OKC was up 18 points.
Thunder are scary good.Leave a comment:

The last 3 seasons the Cavs looked fantastic until the All Star game where they collapsed down the stretch. Was it the players? Were they not ready to ramp up the season intensity down the stretch? I think the coach played his starters too many minutes and injuries killed them at the worst time. Atkinson seems to know how to handle the roster much better but a big question is can they continue to grow and peak at the right time. Bickerstaff was not a tactician. Coaching matters.
Rotate the rest. I actually think the Pacers could have beaten the Celts, if the injuries were even. By being more rested, Celts had the edge. Same thing in the Finals, Dallas was worn out from the Western series.Leave a comment:

Super-long season. We all know it's about pacing a team and getting ready for the playoffs.
Cav roster looks really good. Will be watching.Last edited by ChuckyTheGoat; 11-09-24, 11:23 AM.Leave a comment:

Mac, happy for you. Cavs are a team to root for. I will be rooting HARD for them to de-throne the Celtics.Leave a comment:

Locate the three little dots in 'X' (my wife refuses to call is 'X' by the way)
Anyway, before I digress (which I am the king of don't you know)
Locate the three little dots in 'X' in the upper right-hand corner, click that, and you'll get a dropdown menu with embedding options.Leave a comment:

The Cleveland Cavaliers have tied the franchise record for 130+ point games in a season with five. They have played 10 games.Leave a comment:

Allen is a huge rim protector. He’s outplayed every big he’s faced including Anthony Davis who is leading MVP votes. Ty Jerome is fantastic. This guy can come in and run the offense and just gets buckets. The entire team -lays with aggression. These don’t even look like the same players from last season.Leave a comment:

Mac, how good is Allen doing? Looks like he's dominating. I see that Ty Jerome is killing it, too.
Very early. But Cavs are already 4.5 games ahead of Eastern 3rd team.Leave a comment:

OKCs defense is off the charts. It’s insane. And their offense is so awesome too. I forgot how to embed twitter but this is ridiculous.
My only knock on OKC is experience. I just don’t know if a team of players that have never been to the Finals can win a Finals. Usually teams/players have to go through gut wrenching, rip your heart out playoffs before they win it all. Can you think of many teams that won a title without being totally devastated?

The Efficiency Landscape. Houston at OKC tonight.
Houston has some young guns; Dillon Brooks grew up finally and is playing very good ball, plus Van Fleet.
Very interesting game.Leave a comment:
