Props, Water. I think you're distinguishing yourself on the Pace stats. I honestly had not given that much consideration in the past.

I watch a fair # of the podcasts. I normally rate the Coll/NFL podcasts as TERRIBLE. And I mean so bad that if I'm lining up with the host's picks, I become worried about MY PICK.

Good Luck on the plays. GL on the podcasts. There's a sea of bad podcasts out there, you can trump them.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

I really appreciate it. Needed a passion project if you will. Just betting the games wasn't cutting it for me anymore.

Its a game changer. People think of it with basketball, but it matters a lot in football, but no one really thinks of it in football.

        First of all, good content.

        But a few questions.....

As the variability of scheduling varies so much in college football during the first few weeks, do you attempt to quantify the level of competition in pace of play?

For examples, teams playing FCS schools may spend the entire 4th quarter just running the ball and running clock, taking every snap down to the clock is about to expire.

And, the SOS can obviously artificially inflate offensive and defensive rank-- are you using FEI numbers, or just ypg as the measure of a offensive and defensive efficiency?

          For the first question:

In the actually modeling process, I adjust the seconds based in the situation, a team up in the fourth quarter or by more than 10 points takes longer, opposite in the first

The statical provider only considers games between FBS teams.

I don't only use this season. The pace is roughly 70% correlated year to year. At the moment, I have it at 90%/10%, not all teams have had two games.

          Second question:
I use SP+ with adjustments. The process uses them to determine play results. I use numbers in formulas. Ranks are better for presenting.
