I know, I feel your pain, I've been on both sides of this.

It's that magic number of 7-ish where if it was a touch higher, they'd surrender, and if it was a touch lower they'd play heads up. But in that 7 zone they hack away and you get like 20 points in the last minute of the game.

There was a Mavs game I think about a month ago where they were down double digits with less than 60 secs left. They hack the other team and hit 3 three pts in a row and almost won the game. I think 18 pts were score during that span.
