Bills/Pitt Total - Did the books Cleanup ?
Just curious if the books cleaned up on this wager as folks were all on the under due to the bad weather. Then the NFL moves the game to Monday as the weather is less of a factor. Final result then goes way over. Was there a chance the books returned all wagers due to the change in date or did they let all wagers stand due to no change in venue. Thinking it's probably the latter and the only way the player could exit the wager was via the cashout feature. Then again it might come down to "house rules" at each book too.

Statman, I think you hit on it. I know on the OLD SCHOOL House Rules, a bet was action IF:
    1) The venue stayed the same, AND
    2) The game-date remained the same.

I used to hear that soccer-games were action if the date changed +/- one day.

In my view, all the tickets written for SUN had to be canceled when the game moved to MON. Consistent with the weather report, the total went up at least two points (or more?).

In my view, the total bets re-balanced. I have to believe the adjusted MON # of 37.5 brought 2-way action.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Don't the bets that were made before the game was moved to Monday get cancelled?

At a lot of books yes, also the field was clear of snow so the weather really had no huge affect, personally i was in on the over. That Chiefs game was more affected, but really Tua being trash was even more of a variable.

Most books did at least the onshore ones.

I was as well, unless the game is played in a blizzard, or a rain swept monsoon, I learned a long time ago not to drink the 'bad weather bet the under' Kool Ade.

Not to mention bad weather is conducive to defensive scoop and score TD's.

Harder to play D in bad weather

I think most bets were action. Bets get cancelled in change of venue. A few shops did cancel as per house rules

              South point cancelled wagers

If a player bet an under assuming snow, high wind and cold and let it ride after the snow and high wind was no longer present, it sounds like a live and learn moment too me.
