Well at least sportsbetting isn't on the list of monetary leakage... sounds like you're doing pretty well there.

Cable, peacock, yahoo and netflix are non-essential: get rid of them. Do you need as much home and auto insurance as you have? If not, cut back; I have state minimum only on my car.

GET AN ANDROID BOX AND IPTV SERVICE. Please tell me you've seen 1 of the 20 threads about this before? I'm watching this game on Canada Sports Channel right now. LOL. It's a few plays behind, but I don't live bet like some lunatic so it doesn't bother me.

FYI: I'm not broke but I have the same type of bills except I don't buy X-Mas gifts anymore or take part in fake holiday shit. Nor, do I need all those TV accounts. I pay 12 bucks a month for my IPTV and that's it along with internet bill to make that work.

I’m drinking my own booze so it is pretty cheap. Pornhub is free.

That's true. I bought the Formuler Box Z8 Pro and I love it. Can do lots of things with it probably more than Firestick but it doesn't matter. I've saved thousands on no cable bills since I did this. Thanks to Roy Orbison poster here.......whom I think jetted?

This is a pretty good post. You're right. Powers-that-be set this thing up to gouge.

Count the # of expenses. You run out of fingers and toes.

My one bit of sage advice. Separate those costs into Essential vs Non-Essential. You should be able to knock out many of those.

I'll point out one example. Cost of owning an Automobile is outrageous. Count up the costs associated to owning that Auto:
                        1) Down payment.
                        2) Monthly payment.
                        3) Auto insurance.
                        4) Property Tax (in most states).
                        5) License fee.
                        6) Gas.
                        7) Standard maintenance/repairs.

If someone can ever get by on Public Transit, Walking, and Biking...try it. You'll save a bundle.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Excellent post Chuck. This is why I drive a 2001 BMW and fix it on my own. I don't have a lift so some things I can't bother with especially in the winter. However, I just got done putting a new valve cover on, gasket for it, new plugs, etc. If you can wrench on your own and get a reader for the problems - save tons of $$ that way too. My only expense is the car parts from RockAuto if they carry it. Plus, gas and I only have to put my car on Liability insurance since its so old and the street value isn't squat. But, that car with all the new parts is in good shape so I wouldn't sell it anyway.
