    Colts waive Darious "Shaq" Leonard
I knew it! I posted in some random threads 2 years ago that I thought he was DONE and lost his passion to play football and the Colts should move on from him... or was it last season??? I think it was 2 years ago.

Does someone pick him up and waste a roster spot?

Think it had more to do with his multiple injuries than the passion, small lb that played out of his mind, body wasn't going to hold up, good story while it lasted. Guy made a lot more money than anyone could have predicted so good for him

The 2018 Associated Press Defensive Rookie of the Year amassed an NFL-high 163 tackles during his first campaign and also forced a league-high eight fumbles in 2021. Unfortunately, a nerve issue held him to just three games in 2022

I agree. He's probably not much bigger than Derwin James Jr. whom I also like. Leonard played old school football as a small LB in a game that just doesn't fit his style anymore. Derwin, a similar style, would always would lay big hits on guys, but then the softies start whining right away and those "flags fly". Few big hitters left as they've removed that from the game almost entirely.

The back injury had to take away some of his abilities. Dam good player and a legend in my book.

He has a Shaq-a-Roni pizza now, he doesn't need an NFL check.
