it is not that they are playing possum, it is that certain teams in the NFL and in College, when they go on the road and play crap teams or let's say lesser teams, they have a huge target on their backs, it is the Super Bowl for the home (lesser) team and they give MAX effort plus at night, at home, sunday and monday night home teams have huge backings by their fans and the players know the entire league and world is watching so they give max effort.
