Cubs about to get swept by the Braves. Then they have 3 with the Brewers in Milwaukee. Don't expect them to win that series either. Probably get swept. Chicago been collapsing for like a month now. They also own zero tiebreakers over Marlins, Dbacks, Reds. Reds have 3 left in St. Louis. Marlins 4 left. In New York tonight. Then in Pittsburgh. Only thing that gives Cub hopes are Dbacks. Arizona lost today. And has 3 left at home vs. Astros. Houston also fighting for playoffs. Not worth it to me when they can't win World Series if they aren't in the dance.

Atlanta and Milwaukee have nothing to play for. Problem is Cubs are behind and time is short. I think I saw Fangraphs had them at 28% today. If that's anything close to accurate, +800 is a great value. That's 11.1%.

The last 7 times they took the lead in the 8th inning or later, the bullpen gave up the lead in that inning. The longest streak was 5. The BP is worn out, they leave too many on base, and the little things they were doing (baserunning and D) has fallen off the cliff.

Lol - I used a Free Play ML Pirates last night and lost. Then, after Marlins took the lead and the threat settled in the 8th, I live bet Marlins to get half my free play back. It was not a bad hedge. Basically, if Marlins lost, the Free Play on the Bucs would've covered it. So, I put my Free Play Money where my mouth was. The Marlins have this late inning comeback mojo. It was 3-0 in the 8th.

Now, basically they clinched unless it comes down to Monday night and that could be interesting. If they lost the next 2 they have to win that suspended game to make it in. And Reds or Cubs win next 2.
