      He was great. They probably had the best team at the 2006 world cup but tactical mistake by pekerman to sit on lead vs Germany. Team peaked early.

          One thing, Laker. Klose was a sniper-extraordinaire. Loved that guy's aerial ability.

          On home pitch, Germany rallied. Can't really say that Germany wasn't on the Argentine level.

          My main memory of that World Cup is Pirlo putting the pass on a tee for Grosso to finish. Pirlo magic. Beating Germany on home-soil was no easy task.
