Had to be after the Chiefs leg. Probably looked like a decent cashout offer at that time.

Really doesn't make sense after just one leg. That's a crazy mistake.

I never believe these. Feels like they are marketing a possibility like the lottery. If I saw one posted before it happen I may believe.

Why not let the 25 bucks ride unless you need $$$ bad to pay a bill and not have the lights shut off on you? Otherwise, let it ride.

furthermore, if one can't afford to lose $25 then he or she shouldn't even be gambling in the first place!

Most gamblers are criminally stupid. It's why these US books have such a crazy high hold.

If you do the math, he got paid +388 for hitting the +430.

yeahbut, he had more info about Uconn and Nuggets by that time and maybe the combined odds no longer looked +EV.

+388 is a high cashout offer for a +430 first of three leg.

Not saying I would have done it, or that it was a good idea, just that the offer 4 months ago may not have looked awfully -EV as we are assuming.

If anything, it was probably better. Parlay cashouts are guaranteed ripoffs.

For now but as they continue to take their money and these players don’t even get a small taste of winning it’ll change.
US books are looking shortsighted. In 5 years this pool they are taking every last dime from will be gone and they will have to change their strategy or they won’t be able to pay the loan shark tax rates they owe the states

Why? Have humans stopped reproducing? Sure, some bettors will lose interest after getting taken to the cleaners over and over but there's a new crop turning 18 every day for books to sink their claws into.

$25 wager lol. You ONLY cashout when you understand the line movement pre game on a game when you have the lead and you KNOW it will end up losing.
