Everyone's said the Heat couldn't beat (insert opponent here) since playoffs began and yet here we are.

    I'm done discounting them.

He turned it on vs the Sixers in that game 7 when it became apparent that Harden & Embiid weren't at the races... little bit tougher when the star on the other team is punching back!
Your post doesn't make any sense. Anything can happen in a two game sample, or for the purposes of this discussion, a one series sample which hasn't even concluded yet. It seems you've already decided Miami wins which they of course could but it shouldn't matter beyond a few points of data

And what does the supporting cast even have to do with anything? Yeah Boston's is better overall but which supporting cast actually PLAYED better in the two game sample? Who coached better? So in fact, it seems you're arguing against yourself here with that

The question is asking if all other things are equal, who do you take? Easy question with an easy answer. You could maybe convince me to take Butler in a best of 1 but nothing more

No I'm arguing that Tatum has the better supporting cast yet the HEAT are about to go up 3-0 because Butler is better. But excuse me it's only a 3-game sample lol

I know what you're trying to say but you're still not getting it. Tatum has the better supporting cast but HEAT are about to go up 3-0 because the supporting cast has ALSO OUTPLAYED the Celtics' supporting cast

So you're not really making the point you think you're making

And yes, only a 3 game sample

Yes, because of Butler. The best players elevate those around them.

Ah ok that's a different argument. I would still disagree. I would say it's not to the extent you say at least

You think if a proven vet like Brogdon plays the worst game of his life in the biggest game of his life then it's probably something he ate for breakfast or maybe a girlfriend problem... I don't. It's the environment. The old problem with the Celtics; Tatum & Brown playing selfishly.

Neither one of Tatum nor Brown coming to the defense of G.Williams after game 2. God forbid a teammate challenge the other team's best player. Brown was actually asked about it and a said "next question". It's their fault they blew game 2. Choked it away.

SVG said Martin had made a lot of money in this series with this play. I would go a step further and say he's made a lot of money for his twin in Charlotte -who was actually drafted while Caleb was not. Both tremendous players.
