He has put a full court press on Murray the entire of this game, but he has yet to stop him

It wouldn't have killed the Lakers to give Tristan Thompson some minutes in this series to bang bodies with Jokic for like 10-15 minutes a game and give other guys a breather. That and maybe Beasley who can knock down three pointers, especially considering D-Lo has ghosted.

Any tweaks now will prove to be too little too late.

Sort of like a Jeff Green on Nuggets. He's played well in his role so far. Its players like him that make the quiet difference that goes unnoticed.

Woke professional sports are always lobbying for Affirmative Action to get more black head coaches, but the more you watch events unfold, the more you see why there are a limited number of black head coaches. They just ain't that good, Darvin Ham being the latest to get schooled on the big stage.

Maybe but ham beat Kerr the ultimate woke clown. Ham isn't the reason they lost this series. They just aren't that great. They can't shoot and that was the case all year. I'm not giving him a pass but Denver was always winning this series regardless of the coach. Malone isn't that great. He has two of the games greater players.

There's other examples, in NFL as well as NBA, and while this outcome isn't entirely on Ham, he isn't exactly pushing the right buttons. His rotations are all kinds of wonky, and his commitment to D-Lo when he's clearly hurting the team has dug a bigger hole than need be. There's really no excuse for being down 0-3 in this series, even if winning it wasn't in the cards.

Whatever adjustments the Lakers made wouldn't matter. It's not a matter of xs and os it's a matter of discipline. The Lakers are not a disciplined team. They never were. The hardest working player on their team is Austin Reeves. Lebron himself has never been a disciplined player in key moments. His entire career. He's never had that Kobe/Jordan gene. It's a miracle he's won 4 titles. He should realistically have 2. He doesn't hustle when the game is on the line. Davis doesn't hustle at all.

Trading Westbrook for Dlo is the worst trade. I knew that ppl would drool over that trade in the reg season but when it got to playoff time, Westbrook would have been way better. Westbrook is a way better defender than Shroeder. I don't care how hard it looks like Shroeder is trying. He doesn't have the body to bang with Murray. Westbrook does.

Lakers have been down by 5-10 points with 3-4 minutes to go multiple times in this series and you can see their defeated body language. This time of year is about effort more than anything. Lakers are lucky to even get to this point. They played Memphis without Adams and Clark and Morant basically broke his wrist. Wiggins who is the second best player on GS cracked a couple ribs and couldn't play. Lakers aren't in the same class as Denver.

Austin Reaves has become hot commodity during this Los Angeles Lakers playoff run. Reaves will be a restricted free agent this summer. With only two years of service, Reaves is also subject to the Arenas Provision.
Because of that status, the Lakers can match any offers Reaves may get as a free agent. And Reaves is likely to get at least one offer, if not two or more, for more money than Los Angeles would like to pay him.
In matching an offer sheet, the Lakers could be forced to match under terms that would see Reaves paid around the Mid-Level Exception ($12.2 million) for the first two seasons. Reaves salary then could jump up by double or more for the third, and potentially fourth, seasons of a deal. That's the kicker with matching an offer sheet for an Arenas free agent.

Worst trade??? Lakers were like a .400 team with Westbrook !!!

You can I guess argue Westbrook would have been better in the playoffs but how were they supposed to make the playoffs with him
