I don't agree necessarily, but that's the way it is.

Joe Girardi wins a Manager of the Year award, for the Marlins, and he got shit canned less than a year later for example.
and Darryl Sutter wins not one but TWO stanley cups with Kings 2012 and 2014 and gets shitt canned 3 years later.

    there is NO LOYALTY anymore

that was due to issues between him and the Owner of the Marlins. and Manager of the Year not the same as winning a championship like BUD for the Bucks. took them places they have not been in 50 years.

let's see who they get to replace him.

Pop and Phil Jackson are not walking through that door.

My money is on one of the half dozen hot shot NCAA HC's.
Like a Mark Few for instance.

Thing is Gonzaga pays him 8.5 million according to sportac, which is pretty much the same Bud made in Milwaukee.
And I'm sure it's going to take at least 12 to lure him away, and that's not going to happen, Few has job security for life up there in Washington.

                Nurse very overrated.
may as well hire frank vogel if you want to hire a guy who has a ring but has done little else.
at least vogel took indiana to the conf finals multiple times.
nurse mostly failed after kawhi and kyle lowry carried him to the 2019 title over injured golden state.

quin snyder would have been a great choice but he took the atlanta job.

keep an eye out for mike d'antoni though his high octane style may not work for the greek freak.

they might even take a hard look at a guy like terry stotts or kenny atkinson or dave joerger

Nashy, I'll give you my all time "What have you done for me lately?" dismissal in coaching history:

Guy wins the Premier Lg title in 2015-16 with (friggin) Leicester City. Does so at IMPOSSIBLE odds. Like 2000/1 or higher, if you could even find a guy with a $20 ticket.

OK, he won it. Now, expectations go up. Team struggles in the next year. He doesn't even make it to the end of the SECOND year. Guy didn't even get to finish 2nd year of a 3-year contract.

Talk about no appreciation. Claudio given the pink-slip...after an ALL-TIME league win.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Doc played at Marquette. Has the Milwaukee connection.

Surprised at how re-cycled these coaches are. No rising star coaches?
