Watch, after a few bullpen sessions they'll announce he's expected back in June.

imagine paying for a pitcher who hasn’t logged any meaningful or bulk innings in years

maybe Jack Leiter will step up but kid has shit the bed so far in the minors

Mets dodged a bullet for once

Thank you Texas for taking him away

I was so tired of hearing his BS the last 2 years. We had to hold our breath every time he was on his road to recovery just waiting for the next set back

Why would they pay that much for a pitcher when they have no chance of winning and no team around him. Is it just to sell tickets

agreed. texas did the mets a big favor. even if degrom has quality starts injuries will be a constant issue.

This has nothing to do with DeGrom himself, he wants to pitch. It's all on the analytics cockroaches who've determined that unless he's 100% perfect healthwise, it's too risky to play.

Degrom best days are probably behind him just like Kershaw.

Does deGrom have a World Series win?

Jacob deGrom has given up 4 runs on 6 hits with 3 walks and 2 strikeouts in 5 innings in the World Series in his career. He has been charged with the loss.

I wouldn’t use that one World Series outing to define him. He gave us some great years. He’s still one of my all time favorite players. He will always be loved in NY. I’m just glad we didn’t re-sign him to a massive contract.

Degrom like Kershaw are solid regular season pitchers when healthy. Come playoff time they can't be trusted. Just my take of the two over the years. Just calling a spade a spade.

He’s 4-1 with a 2.90 ERA in the postseason. 37 strikeouts in the 5 starts. Not great, but not too shabby
