2nd best ever behind Efrain Reyes.

I had Earl down 9-0 in a race to 11 in the Chattanooga Open in the late 80's. (9-Ball) I miscued on an 8 ball and I never got back to the table. He won that game and he ran the next 10 racks.

I played a lot with Johnny Archer and Tony Ellin in the late 90's in Charleston, SC.

Nothing has change with pool. Not enough money. Even the side games barely pay the expenses. Something about the shady side of pool that scares away sponsors and real TV coverage.

Saw Rocket come into the scene in the 80's. He came with his entourage from Hawaii to the Bay Area. Heard a story of a game him and Strickland played. 10 ahead for 10k back then. He was down 9 games and came back to win.
