"so many investigations" could mean ending up in Mar-a-Lago?

He never wanted to be at Michigan. He wants to be with the big boys and this is perfect way out an investigation at Michigan.
Michigan will make a deal with the NCAA, minor sanctions and fire him

He never wanted to be at Michigan??? Not true. He wanted to be there.... he changes his mind constantly. He wanted out of San Francisco too. He truly believes in McCarthy and wanted to win a title with him. Personally I think McCarthy is a stain.
Reports out of Detroit newspapers basically said... Harbaugh WANTS TO BE A WOLVERINE. The 2nd part of it is odd... in plain English... it said if someone offered Harbaugh 10-12 million a year in the NFL... he's OUT. But... he's still committed to Michigan. I know... very odd.

He's DEFINITELY not leaving Michigan for another college job. As a Denver fan, I'd prefer Payton. I think he will be back at Michigan. The violations aren't that serious. Nothing to run from.

100% agree. Send a corner blitz from one side.... flush him out towards a QB spy on the other side. You can practically do it every down with him. He isn't that quick with his progressions. Literally only looks for 2 receivers.

I think you're right on the money here. I wouldn't be surprised if he deliberately committed violations to ensure he would be canned so he could head back to the pros.

I think he makes like Pete Carroll during the SC/Reggie Bush shenanigans and pops smoke and ghosts. Probably to the Broncos. My $.02.

If Harbaugh really wants a NFL job then he would go to Miami with his UM buddy Ross. But I doubt he wants the NFL at all.

He made hints that he wanted to rebuild Michigan... and stay there forever. He's always preaching Bo Schembechler old sayings to the kids. If he leaves... he's nothing more than a traitor. Don't know how Michigan would ever treat him after his departure. It wouldn't be good. He's actually a fool if he leaves.

College coaches are already fed up with the NIL crap. Players are transferring to get money not playing time. I would bet Saban retires after next year due to this.
Big name coaches like Harbaugh are going to be more serious about getting to the NFL now.
Ryan Day is another one that will be a sure NFL coach in a few years.

he's really not in demand as much as he and his agent want you to believe. the vast majority of NFL owners and GMs would never consider getting into bed with this guy

Why? He’s never building Michigan bigger than what it is right now no matter how hard he tries. This is the max they can do. They’ll never be able to pay as much as SEC schools and they won’t outrecruit those schools either. Then they also lose to Ohio State in recruits as well. If he stays they are going to have more and more college playoff losses and then the narrative will turn into “he can’t win it all” instead of being that he took a school that won’t sniff the college playoff again once he leaves to as high as it could go

Michigan can pay whatever they want. They could call 10 alumni and get together whatever your number is by 12 noon today. There’s just very little desire to do that or be that on either end. Michigan is and has always been a school focused on the Big Ten/Beating Michigan State/Ohio State/Rose Bowl. It is 100% how the school operates. The money is irrelevant though. They have it in their couch cushion.

He should have taken Vikings job last year.
Now he’s gonna get a team with no chance to win in the immediate future unless he sits out a year

There have been rumors every single year of him leaving since they day he got to Michigan. Some of it warranted, some of it just negative recruiting. Agree with you, he’d be a fool to leave. They will build him a statue and pay him whatever he wants… literally.

Having it/using it is the same thing. They arent going to be any better than what they have been the last two years. He has hit the ceiling with this team, he should absolutely leave

You said they don’t have the money, stay focused. You don’t understand the culture of Michigan. They would rather churn out millionaire alumni (top 15), doctors, engineers, etc… they are quite satisfied in their standing. Those are facts. Everyone wants a national title but there’s only 3-5 programs with a legit shot every single year. If 25-3 in 2 years is a bad thing I’d argue 99% of the college football programs would take that in a minute. It is what is is.

But the point of my statement is that Harbaugh has reached the ceiling with this school. We are both saying the same thing but in different ways
